Wow , that first blast of cool air in the morning feels good . With shorter days and falling temperatures the inshore fishing is turning on . I went up river last Sunday and tossed the anchor and caught all these species in one place .Hybrid [sunshine] Bass,Redfish,Trout,Sheepshead,Croaker,Black Drum, as well as had a Tarpon swim by just for a little adrenaline .
There are lots of short trout and reds right now , but with the shrimp coming down the river and falling temps there will be full size fish soon.
I will try to make a trek offshore this weekend to find out what might be available for the offshore anglers . The bigger migrating Kings should be in close and the Grouper should be coming in soon as well . Its a great time to get out there and fish !!!!
