The first Pure Panga 22 that I have been waiting patiently for is actually done and coming up the coast from Tampa area today . Expect performance reports and photos within the next few days . I am looking forward to it , and Im sure some patient Panga fans will appreciate the quality and thought that went into making a boat with the most requested features and no compromises, at a reasonable price .
On another note , I spent some time with our Evinrude E Tec rep yesterday and he filled me in as to their participation in the “outboard horsepower wars” . They have introduced a 300 H.P. 3.4 Litre E Tec for the big saltwater boats , and for the freshwater go fast folks a 250 H.O. [high output] that is said to be the fastest thing on the water with 85 MPH clocked on stock bass boats . They claim superiority over the fabled Merc 300 race motor . Since we are a Champion Bass Boat dealer it is of interest as we see if our market will demand a few of the best available Bass Boats with the fastest possible power.
We are loving this rain here and I might have to cancel a fishing trip ,but we need it so bad Its ok!
