Preliminary performance with 90 E Tec [17 P. Raker S.S. prop] and 30 Gals of fuel [no seating in the boat yet and minimal safety gear ; topped out at 40 mph @ 5200 RPM. 29.7 MPH @ 4000 RPM .The e tec is a 4500-5500 RPM Motor so I dont think Ill mess with success .Im sure we could get better top speed numbers at the expense of a great cruise number . I like the light cruise speed of 4000 rpm at just about 30 . Next we will see how she does with weight aboard . I suspect the real cruise speed with people , Ice, supplies , fishing gear , will be 30 ish at 4500 RPMs . That suits me fine ! The ride is noticeably better than the "other" panga designs I have owned and sold .In other words, the Imemsa/Yamaha/Edurdono hull . The entry of the Pure Panga is more refined and better in the chop .
We have some custom leaning posts coming , which are being built by Quality Tee Tops of Tarpon Springs for the 2 demos . They will be 30" wide for a comfortable fit in the 60" wide [fully useable] floors of our boats . They will hold 60 Qt Igloo coolers underneath. We have decided to move a few things around to get it as simple and user friendly as it can be , and running around on the boat is the best way to figure out ideas .Its a tough job……….
