Ranger Tug 2009 29'

Ranger 29

The brand new 29' Ranger Tug that Wefing's Marine will debut at the Atlanta Boat Show: January 14th through 18th 2009, the Stuart Trawler Fest: January 22nd through January 24th and the Miami International Boat Show: February 12th through 16th is shown here in an "artists rendering".

The first boat out of the factory is just finishing up production and it looks like the finish work will be completed on time for delivery to Wefing's Marine in order for us to debut it at the Atlanta Boat Show a little later in January, 2009. We are very excited about this new model and believe it will move Ranger Tug even further out in front of the niche market that it now does so well in. If they carry through on the new model with the same quality, fit and finish they apply to their current models, and we have every reason to believe they will, they will have a real winner with this new model. Despite its outward similarity in styling to the current R25, this boat has been redesigned from the keel up and is one of the most well thought out and innovative designs we've seen in a long time. We have the spec sheet and the "Final Sales Brochure" as well as some photographs that the factory just sent us which you can view here. The boat comes in at 29' 1" and with the swim step it is 33'0" overall. The boat is trailerable, with a 10' beam, a 28" draft and a trailer height of 13'2". The standard features list is long and comprehensive, as we've come to expect from Ranger Tugs. It is fully equipped with a full Garmin navigation package, VHF radio and stereo system, a 30 amp battery charger, bow and stern thrusters, remote controlled spotlight and a fully equipped galley right down to the 6 Bottle AD/DC Wine Cooler as standard equipment. What little was left off the standard list is easily available as factory options.

We have the "Official and Final Sales Brochure" from the Ranger Tug folks. We're making it available for reading or downloading as a pdf file. You can read it here. If you want to save it to your computer just click the save icon in the upper left of the window.
