I have heard the snapper are already there . I need to go explore . They put the material on live bottom so it should load up quickly.

I believe I watched the last load of bridge material go out on Friday 6-19.

I think it is only going to take one good low pressure system (ie, tropical storm) coming up through the Gulf to get everything moving around and those new reefs should load up right quickly.

Well, I went out on a limb and said that all it would take to get the fish moving and biting on the new reefs offshore would be a storm. I guess we got that storm. Now it is almost calm enough to get out there and find out if I was right or wrong about the fish.
I did hear stories of a couple of commercial boats that have already made it out for a few days fishing and did well. They also got beat up pretty badly, but it appears to be finally calming down a bit. Hopefully the reefs nearer shore will be as lively as the 40 break seems to be so everyone will have a chance to catch their limit.
Good luck and good fishin' to all.
