Show overview
Widely considered the premier boat show on Florida’s west coast, the 42nd Annual Fort Myers Boat Show will feature boats of just about every type imaginable, marine products and services for both enthusiasts and novices alike.
The Boat Show is located in downtown Fort Myers. The main entrance is at the corner of Bay Street and Dean Street. The show is spread out through the Harborside Event Center, along Edwards Drive and Centennial Park to The Fort Myers Yacht Basin.

Wefing's will be sharing space at the show with our new partner in Southwest Florida, Gulf Shores Marina in Naples, FL. Gulf Shores Marina is a family owned and operated business in Naples, Fl owned and helmed by Ken Main and his family. Marc and Ken met while doing boat shows and found they had a shared philosophy for how to run a Marine Dealership and are now working together to market some of Wefing's boat lines in southwest Florida. We are pleased to be associated with Ken and his family and crew.
We will also have our Eastern and Seaway Factory Rep, Bruce Perkins as well as Rossiter Boats designer and builder Scott Hanson on hand at this show to answer your questions about their boats and boat lines.

We are going to have some beautiful boats on display and for sale at this show. We will be bringing all brand new 2015 Models and will have special show pricing on all of them. Additionally, all of the boats we are bringing have reliable, efficient Yamaha 4 Stroke motors and Yamaha has a great warranty deal available until November 18th so any of the boats we will have on display will qualify for an extra 3 years of extended service at no additional cost. Combined with Yamaha's already good Three Years that means 6 years of Yamaha Limited Warranty included with any deal that closes before November 18th. There is no better time to buy a beauty of a boat and motor at a beauty of a price than right now.

The Show Lineup
Eastern 22 Sisu
- The latest offering from the Eastern Boats line, we have been looking forward to having this boat to show and sell for a while. A proven design, Eastern's typical attention to detail, fit, and finish turns it into a winner for those interested in serious fishing or serious sunset watching.
- The boat has been getting consistently good reviews since its introduction earlier this year and we concur, it's a winner! We are proud to have it in our line-up and proud to show it off to potential proud new owners. The shot below was taken yesterday while we were taking the Sisu and the Eastern CC down to Gulf Shores Marina in Naples, FL so they will be ready for the show in nearby Fort Myers this weekend.
Eastern 248 Islander
- Ever since we began our association with Eastern Boats the 248 Islander has been a favorite of ours and of our customers. There may well be no better pilothouse day-cruiser on the water. The boat is, as all Easterns are, a thing of beauty. The design goes beyond pretty though, making for a 24 foot cruiser that needs no more than 150 HP to run well all day long. We will have a beauty of a 2015 model on hand at this show and would love to make it yours.
- The boat shown below is not the boat we will have in Fort Myers. This is a 2014 Model and we include it here just to give you an idea of the boat's lines and design.
Eastern 248 Center Console
- The Eastern 248 Center Console is built on the same hull as the 248 Islander, delivering a soft, smooth ride on boat that can handle the whole family or a group of your fishing buddies while demanding minimal horsepower (and minimal fuel). The boat we will have with us is shown above, sitting at the ramp in Ten Foot Hole Marina, Apalachicola. What you don't see in that picture is the classic Downeast style bow dodger and extra long bimini top we had installed on this boat.
Seaway 27 Hardtop

Rossiter 23 Classic Day Boat
- This boat must be seen to be believed. This much anticipated addition to the Rossiter line is in limited production for this year and has been a crowd favorite everywhere it has been shown. It is roomy without being bloated. Safe without being stodgy. Easy riding but high performing. Fit and finish is -- as we have come to expect from Rossiter Boats -- immaculate.
Rossiter 17 Closed Deck Runabout
- This beautiful boat is one of our favorites. With an long list of standard features and the ability to run well with minimal HP with great handling and an impressive WOW! factor, this boat has been turning heads on a regular basis ever since we first introduced them to our Southeastern U.S. customers. This show is your best chance to get a great deal on a boat that has no equal with a great warranty package thrown in by Yamaha.
- Powered by either 90 or 115 horses, this new Rossiter can take the whole family out for a day of picnicking and waterskiing or haul supplies back and forth with ease in almost any weather … all the while looking and acting like nothing else on the water. Next Show on our schedule ...
The next boat show after Fort Myers on our schedule is the St. Pete show which will be held this year from Dec. 4th to 7th in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg. We will have a brand new -- newly redesigned for 2015 -- Ranger R29. This new model has many innovative new features and a very reasonable price point. We'll have others, more Ranger Tugs as well as a broad selection of our premium boat lines at this show.
